The primary purpose of the app is to provide the digital version of the “Caregiver guide” which will help to reduce the risks associated with the use of Hemangeol treatment, a medication prescribed by the child’s healthcare practitioner. Specifically, we provide the app with the objectives of:

– Making you aware of the risks of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and breathing problems (bronchospasm) during and after each intake of Hemangeol

– Explaining how to administer this medication and how to feed your child during treatment in order to avoid these risks

– Explaining how to recognize risks associated with Hemangeol and how to monitor their possible occurrence

– Telling you what actions to take immediately if these risks occur.

The app allows you to send daily notifications and alerts to the admins in charge of administering the treatment to guide them and prevent any risk of adverse events, provided that the administrators have given their consent.
